F1 Driver Lewis Hamilton Attributes Improved Health to Vegan Diet

Lewis Hamilton is on the cusp of a fourth Formula One World Title and attributes his success in part to his change to a vegan diet two months ago. He said: “I feel the best I’ve ever felt physically and mentally,” and feels this improvement in his health is directly linked to his veganism.

Hamilton was inspired to become vegan after watching documentary What the Health. He had eaten a predominantly pescatarian diet for two years but decided to cut out animal products entirely in September amid concerns for the environment and animal welfare as well as for reasons of health.
