Save the date! 28th and 29th October sees the biggest ever West Midlands Vegan Festival taking place in Wolverhampton. This year the event is celebrating its 10th anniversary with over 160 stalls, cookery demos, talks, live entertainment, an all vegan bar, children’s’ activities, competitions and raffles as well as lots of free food samples.
Vegan businesses old and new will be travelling from all over the country to participate in the festival and it will be a wonderful opportunity for the vegan-curious as well as vegan stalwarts to see and try some of the fantastic food, make up, skincare and shoes etc that are currently available.
Vegan cheeses will feature heavily at this year’s festival with companies like the Naturally Vegan Food Company and Good Carma Foods offering a selection of hand-made plant-based cheeses.
Badgers Dairy & Egg Free will also be in attendance selling their coleslaw and 'egg' mayonnaise and Jack Bakes will be offering up delicious gluten-free (and a few sugar-free) cakes. Lakeside Ethical treats will selling a variety of sweets including veganised Mars bars and along with a host of other food vendors.
The festival is being held at the Wolves Civic, outdoors and in the Art Gallery on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October from 10am-6pm both days. Entry is only £1 on the door, with under 16's free.
