10 Most Beautiful A/W Vegan Bags

Pretty, playful and practical, bags for Autumn/Winter take centre stage - although if you are anything like me, bags always take centre stage!

Whether you like to match your bag to the hues of the colder seasons or prefer a pop of colour to brighten up the wintry months, these days in the world of vegan leather handbags there really is something for everyone.

Brighten up

Brighten up a grey day with a bold colour. NQ London have a fantastic selection of handbags in all styles and shades. I love this brand because not only because it's cruelty free (like everything at Ethica Magazine) but because their bags are made of Neoprene, a type of rubber used to make wetsuits, laptop covers among other items. This material is waterproof, extremely durable and easy to clean. NQ London bags can be washed into the washing machine without losing shape.  NQ London Daytona £100 is perfect for the office, the gym and even the beach. It comes in six colours, including navy, cobalt blue, denim, pale pink and red.

Matt&Nat have a fantastic collection for this season. As I always miss the sun in winter, I love a yellow bag that reminds me of sunshine and their Gloria SM Satchel, £105, is smart, trendy and the pomelo shade is just right for a grey day. Pitti Vintage Black and Yellow Hobo Bag, £74, pairs black with yellow and works beautifully.

Ladylike: from day to night

Angela Roi Eleanor Satchel, £163, is the ultimate ladylike bag and is ideal for a day at the office and an evening in a chic restaurant. Labante Gwen Tote, £135, is sophisticated and elegant and comes in black and nude too, whilst Matt&Nat Malone, £120, is the ultimate timeless bag.

Pretty and Practical

I'm a the ultimate bag lady. I'm a bag lady because I LOVE handbags but also because I'm always carrying a huge amount of stuff with me: shopping bag, handbag, maybe a small backpack for my laptop...so I like to be practical during the day or evenings down the pub. I've seriously fallen in love with The Lovely Things Detailed Handle Bag, £40. Practical and durable to use every day but without compromising on style. I also love the 70s, and there's a clear nod to the era in this bag. Only problem is can't decide whether to buy it in brown, black or grey... . I'm also a huge fan of cross body bags and I've got my eyes on Angela Roi Morning Cross Body Bag, £107. It comes in nine different colours, including red, yellow and black but my favourite as to be the dark green one - a perfect autumnal shade. Violet Ray Jordanna Vegan Satchel, £58 is cool, practical and spacious, great for the day and for a night out. For a classic bucket bag, look no further than Matt&Nat Livia, £105, which comes in a variety of autumnal shades, including ink, black, henna and grey.
